AmmoVault Terms & Conditions
By creating an account, placing an order, or participating in our subscription service, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to your use of AmmoVault, operated by Ammunition Depot.
1. Eligibility & Age Verification
By creating an AmmoVault account or placing an order, you represent and warrant that you: (a) are at least twenty-one (21) years of age, or eighteen (18) years of age where permitted by applicable state law for the specific ammunition being purchased; (b) are legally permitted to purchase, possess, and receive ammunition under all applicable federal, state, and local laws; (c) are not a prohibited person under 18 U.S.C. § 922(g) or any comparable state statute; and (d) will only request shipment to addresses where receipt of ammunition is lawful. AmmoVault reserves the right to verify your eligibility at any time and to suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe any of these representations are or have become inaccurate.
2. Subscription Program
You may make periodic subscription or one-time purchases. Subscription purchases will be automatically billed to your payment method on file. You may adjust, pause, or cancel your subscription at any time through your AmmoVault account. Funds are used to purchase live ammunition inventory stored in Your Vault.
3. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify AmmoVault immediately at [email protected] if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. AmmoVault will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your login information.
4. Payment Terms
All purchases and subscription payments are processed through the payment method on file in your AmmoVault account. You are responsible for keeping your payment information current. If a scheduled payment fails due to an expired card, insufficient funds, or other cause, AmmoVault may: (a) retry the charge using all means at their disposal over a forty-five (45) day period; (b) notify you by email, phone, or text of the failed payment; and (c) suspend subscription purchases and account activity until the payment issue is resolved. Continued failure to maintain a valid payment method may result in cancellation of your subscription. For the avoidance of doubt, a failed payment does not constitute "Activity" for purposes of Section 6.1.
5. Pricing & Taxes
Ammunition is priced at the time of purchase and is subject to availability. Prices may vary based on market conditions, and AmmoVault reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time. You are responsible for all applicable sales taxes, and any other taxes or fees imposed by any governmental authority in connection with your purchases. Taxes will be calculated and applied at checkout or at time of shipment, as applicable.
6. Storage & Account Activity
6.1 Free Storage - We Don't Want to Charge You Fees
Storage of ammunition purchased through the AmmoVault program is provided at no additional charge so long as your account remains Active. Your account is considered "Active" if, within the preceding twelve (12) months, you have done any of the following: (a) made a purchase; (b) logged into your AmmoVault account; (c) updated your account or payment information; or (d) responded to a reactivation email from AmmoVault. We're not trying to play "gotcha" here-practically any sign of life keeps your storage free.
6.2 Inactivity Notice
If your account has had no Activity (as defined above) for twelve (12) consecutive months, we will attempt to contact you using the most recent contact information on file, including by email, phone, and text message. This communication will notify you that your account has been classified as "Inactive" and explain how to reactivate it. Reactivation is simple-any of the actions listed in Section 6.1 will restore Active status and restart the twelve-month clock. We'd genuinely rather hear from you than charge you.
6.3 Storage Fees
If your account remains Inactive for sixty (60) days following the notice described in Section 6.2, monthly storage fees will begin to accrue. Fees will be calculated at four percent (4%) of the value of your stored inventory as of the date your account was classified as Inactive, or ten dollars ($10.00) per month, whichever is greater. Storage fees will be satisfied by reducing the quantity of ammunition credited to your account and applying the value of that ammunition against the storage fees. Fees will continue to accrue monthly until the account is reactivated or the inventory value reaches zero, at which point the account will be closed. We'd rather hear from you than watch your vault slowly empty-but we can't store ammunition indefinitely for accounts that have gone silent.
6.4 Reactivation
An Inactive account subject to storage fees may be reactivated at any time before its inventory value reaches zero by performing any action described in Section 6.1. Upon reactivation, storage fees cease and free storage resumes for any remaining inventory. Ammunition already applied toward storage fees prior to reactivation is not recoverable.
7. Storage Services
AmmoVault stores your purchased ammunition in our secure, climate-controlled facility. All inventory is professionally packaged, managed, and insured while stored.
8. Shipping & Withdrawal
You may request shipment of your stored inventory at any time, subject to state and federal laws. Shipping rates are calculated at time of withdrawal based on carrier rates and delivery location. AmmoVault will refuse shipment if it believes the requested destination violates applicable laws.
9. Insurance & Risk of Loss
AmmoVault fully insures all stored inventory while in our care. AmmoVault is not responsible for losses resulting from acts of God, war, terrorism, government seizure, or force majeure events beyond our control.
10. Cancellation & Refunds
You may cancel or close your account at any time. Refunds for stored inventory are not guaranteed but may be offered based on current market value or buyback options, if offered at AmmoVault's discretion.
11. Electronic Communications Consent
By creating an AmmoVault account, you consent to receive communications from us electronically, including by email, text message, and phone. These communications may include: account confirmations, purchase receipts, subscription billing notices, inactivity and reactivation notices under Section 6, service updates, and promotional offers. You agree that all notices, disclosures, and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. You may opt out of promotional communications at any time, but you may not opt out of transactional or account-related communications while maintaining an active account.
12. Compliance Responsibility
You are solely responsible for compliance with local, state, and federal laws related to ammunition ownership, purchase, and shipment. AmmoVault complies with all federal regulations and restricts shipments where prohibited.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AmmoVault and its parent company, Ammunition Depot, along with their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents, shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the AmmoVault service, regardless of the theory of liability. Our total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to these Terms and your use of the service shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to AmmoVault during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation applies whether the claim is based in contract, tort, strict liability, or any other legal theory.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AmmoVault, Ammunition Depot, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the AmmoVault service; (b) your breach of these Terms & Conditions; (c) your violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right; or (d) any misrepresentation regarding your eligibility to purchase, possess, or receive ammunition.
15. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the AmmoVault service shall first be submitted to good-faith informal resolution by contacting us at [email protected]. If the dispute is not resolved within thirty (30) days, it shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts. Notwithstanding the foregoing, AmmoVault and Ammunition Depot reserve the right, in their sole and absolute discretion, to elect binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules in lieu of litigation for any dispute. If AmmoVault elects arbitration, the arbitration shall take place in Boca Raton, Florida, and the arbitrator's decision shall be final and enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction. The right to elect arbitration rests exclusively with AmmoVault and Ammunition Depot and may not be invoked by the subscriber. You and AmmoVault each waive the right to participate in a class action, collective action, or representative proceeding, whether in court or in arbitration.
16. Regulatory Change
Ammunition is a regulated product, and the legal landscape can change. If changes in federal, state, or local law make it unlawful or commercially impracticable for AmmoVault to store, hold, or ship any category of ammunition in your vault, AmmoVault may, in its sole discretion: (a) notify you and provide a reasonable period to request shipment or withdrawal of affected inventory; (b) arrange for lawful disposition of affected inventory on your behalf; or (c) issue a credit or refund based on the lesser of fair market value or cost of affected inventory at the time of the regulatory change. AmmoVault shall not be liable for any loss in value resulting from a regulatory change beyond our control.
17. Privacy Policy
Your use of the AmmoVault service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at AmmunitionDepot.com/privacy-policy. The Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share your personal information and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
18. Ownership
AmmoVault is operated by Ammunition Depot.
19. Modifications
AmmoVault reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
20. Severability & General Provisions
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The failure of AmmoVault to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. These Terms & Conditions, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and AmmoVault regarding the service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
